ABOUT THE ARTIST
Hello, my name is Jackie. I love to create art every day! I started exploring art at an early age. Art class was always my favorite, where I listened and watched my art teachers intently. I knew I wanted to be an art teacher early in life, about first or second grade. I took every art class I could get into from then on. As the years went on and I attended Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, I knew that selling art in my small hometown of West Terre Haute/Terre Haute, Indiana would be a struggle. However, regardless of that, I knew I wanted to surround myself in it. In 2006 I graduated cum laude from St. Mary of-the-Woods College with a B.A. in art education in grades K-12.

Currently I prefer to work in pencils and 35 mm film but also enjoy oil, acrylic, ceramics, and oil pastels. I, however, love exploring other mediums. And I tend to change my style, medium, and size frequently. I have work from 5x6 inch to 5x6 foot.
In my free time I love spending it with my family and two dogs Brock and Chloe. Brock is a pit bull mix and Chloe is a registered English Mastiff. My favorite movie currently is Along Came Polly and my favorite childhood movie would be
In my dream world everyday I would wake up before the sun, get ready for the day, then go to my studio away from home. I would get there around 7:00am and make art until well into the evening. My studio would be open to the public and set up for art lessons and art parties.
Thanks for visiting my website. Please enjoy my work!
